I'm not too fond of social media, so I decided to be annoying here, where no one can leave comments that will bruise my huge, fragile ego. I thought it'd be fun to try making a website ever since I've first heard of NeoCities in late 2024 for the first time, and as ye can tell, I've been procrastinating for a very, very long time. Better late than never!

My hobbies:

a stamp that says 'I procrastinate, you're lucky this even made it to my page'. a stamp that says 'People with autism want acceptance... and not cure'. a stamp that says 'Cringe culture is immature, hampers creativity, hurts self-esteem. a stamp that says 'I love making characters'. a stamp that says 'thog don't caare'.

I went to a Showaddywaddy concert in Cork! Oh, they were brilliant, I say. Romeo Challenger waved at me at the end, yay!
So, basically, I've never been to Cork Opera House before so I was quite nervous. All previous music shows I've gone to had been in Wexford, and while I don't live there, it's a far smaller place and much easier for myself to feel comfortable in. Before that though, we went to a Chinese restaurant and let me say, the food was brilliant. I had roast duck with orange sauce and chips - I know chips aren't very Chinese, but you know, this is Ireland. And I don't like rice all that much, boiled or fried.
The show itself started at 20:00 with an, I believe, Northern Irish musician. He was great in the meantime and I loved his presence, he seemed like a very kind man. He was also pretty funny and had a good voice. Showaddywaddy started at roughly 20:35. And oh my.
I wasn't big into Showaddywaddy before this, I'd only heard a few songs thanks to my mam who is a fan, but they blew my socks off. They were so upbeat, cheerful, funny and their presence was so infectious! For the first time in a very long time, I felt comfortable getting up and just dancing and enjoying myself without fearing I'd be judged. I'll definitely remember this show simply because of that. They were jumping all around, dancing, shouting, singing and playing, it was so fun and honestly, impressive to watch; and their coloured suits were super fun and kitsch. I loved it! I definitely recommend for anyone into goofy, kitsch, campy 50s and 60s themed stuff. I'd be very happy to see them next time they come around to Ireland and maybe even England. :)
